Copyright & security tutorial

Remember to add your signature to your tracks if you don't want them to be "stolen". This means that someone takes your track code, possibly renames the track and claims it as his own creation. It's good to have some proof that the track has been originally made by you.TIP: If you don't want the signature to be in the middle of your track, you can write somewhere unseen when playing or scrolling through the track, it can still be found using the preview feature of www.fr2db.fr. But on the other hand, a best way to keep your tracks "secure" is to hide your signature to the track, for example to the texturing of the background etc. It is good to add your tracks to the Free Rider 2 Tracks Database (www.fr2db.fr), becouse when saved there, your track code is uneditable and cannot be copied. This really is the best way to protect your tracks. If you also want to add your track's code somewhere in your pages, the beauty of FR2DB is that the same code cannot be added twice there. So if you've once added your track there, no one else can add your track too, even with a different name. Unfortunately, this also works the other way round, so if someone has stolen your track, you can't add it to the database yourself. TIP: Have proof of when you've created your track and added it to your pages (For example the update history of your page where the code is located) so you can prove that you have created your track before it was added to the FR2DB by others. Remember, that even if you've added your track to the database, someone can still edit it a bit (draw 1 additional line or add their own signature to it) and add it to the database, IF you still have the track's code in a public place. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
