I don't think people such as Milkshakeweedwacker (and more) should be allowed to enter these contests. Look at all the free rider 2 track making noobs (including me) that are making the best track they can such as mine and don't even rank to the top 100. Me frankly am sick of this. Maybe you are too.

I appreciate the comment, but that's why we try to make all the contests a little different. For example, the last contest (that had the biggest prize, incidentally) had nothing to do with making tracks at all. This was specifically doen to level the playing field and give everybody a chance to participate. This contest is themed "V Track", which leaves the theme subject to each person's interpretation. Some guidance has been given, but if somebody came up with some novel interpretation, I bet they'd have a shot at it! Standing out of a crowd will do wonders. And, if that's not enough, never fear cuz as long as the community enjoys and participates in these contest, there will be more! And the themes and contests themselves will vary, so that everybody can participate. 'Sides, isn't playing and having a goal the fun of it?! Good luck all! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I know that there are many good authors in this contest, but I honestly don't think I need to be kicked off, and besides, I don't een think I am going to win. I hope to, and I want to, but I don't know.

Well I agree with some of you and Milkshake being a moderator is what really concerns me. And Milkshakeweedwacker indeed you are an incredible track maker and you are one of my free rider role models but I think we should have a newcomers contest every once in a while. Thank you for the comments and keep them coming. I guess it is okay that you make tracks here but I think you should look into my idea.

I totally understand you. It may seem as the staff here both makes and participated in contests, only to win the whole thing themselves and leave nothing to the rest of the community. However, Milkshake chose to participate in the contest rather than to help me and Wild-Kat to create and administrate it, so he had or has no administrative influence in this contest.

Yeah, I guess I should have mentioned that. But yeah, I was asked to choose to participate in the contest or run it, I choose participate. And like he said, I have no influence.
