1. This is the body of Free Rider. For the most part you don't want this part of Free Rider to touch the lines, although there are some tricks that have exceptions to this.
2. This is the nose of Free Rider's bike. You can balance on this part of Free Rider's bike using there left and right arrow keys. Also if you fall at high-impact on this section you can do a "Nosie Hop" where Free Rider will bounce.
3. This is the tail of Free Rider's bike. You can balance on this part of Free Rider's bike using the left and right arrow keys.
☺☺☺- Tricks - ☺☺☺
Free Rider has many different tricks that make your tracks interesting.
Overview: Here's a few tricks combined into one .gif file.
Wheelie: This is when Free Rider balances on his back wheel. This is only useful for your personal entertainment or for showing off skills on Youtube.
Example: Wheelie Challenge by Moffy
Nosie: This is when Free Rider balances on his front wheel. This is only useful for personal entertainment or showing off your skills on Youtube.
Lily Padding: This is when Free Rider rides on a bunch of small, tightly packed lines. This is just for track design, making it look cooler. If done incorrectly although it can be used for making your track more difficult.
Examples: Variations 2 By Connor
Loop: This is when Free Rider rides through a circle until he has done a complete 360 degree angle.
Example: Loops Preview by Matt88
Elevator: When there are two lines surrounding Free Rider so he will not fall when going strait upwards. Useful for making a track re-start at the beginning or getting around objects.
Example: 1i,1i,-1j,1i -1i,1i,1i,1i 1h,1h,2o,1h 1t,-67,1t,3 2o,2,2o,-67 2o,-67,2o,4 2o,1i,2o,2 2o,2,2o,1i # by Cataclism
In Between Elevator: When Free Rider gets a "impaled" by a line in between his front and back wheels. You can then hold up and left/right and you will shoot upwards.
Examples: Fire Escape by Cataclism
Spike Bounce: When Free Rider falls on two lines shaped like a spike and bounces.
Examples: Smooth Looped Map by TheFunkyMonkie
Nose Hang: When Free Rider hangs on his front wheel while the rest of his bike is dangling down.
Examples: Awesome Cave Auto by Connor
Tail Hang: When Free Rider hangs on his back wheel while the rest of his bike is hanging down.
Examples: Auto All The Way by Artemis.
Upside Down Rider: When Free Rider is upside down on a line and can still be alive and riding.
Examples: Auto by Artemis.
Pinch Cannon: When Free Rider gets jammed in between two lines and he goes at very high speeds.
Examples: High Jump by Meee ofcaoserr
Wall Jump: This trick is a way to make a ramp out of a 90 degree angle wall. All you do is space lines closely together and then get some speed and have Free Rider's wheels hit the wall at a 90 degree angle while accelleration.
Examples: Wall Crawler by Maxi
Stretchy Bike: When Free Rider's bike gets stretched out excessevly. It is virtually useless.
Examples: -g,1h,-g,-8 d,11,-5,11 j,-6,j,1h # by daugystik
Unicycle: When Free Rider (generally in a Pinch Cannon) is going at an extremely fast speed and his wheels jam together.

►►► - Track Exchanging - ►►►
Track exchanging has been particulary hard for games like Linerider and Line Adventures. But Free Rider has the option to freely exchange tracks in seconds. It's very simple to do. You just tap the "Save" button to copy your track's code. You can post this on forums, or "The Free Rider Track Database", or you can send yourself a "Private Message" with this code so you don't have to re-start your track. To open a track just tap on the "Folder" and copy the Free Rider track code. There has also been a revolutionary website called "The Free Rider Track Database" in which you can easily post your tracks and others can play them with the click of a button.

Recording
1. Download Cheat Engine and Camstudio 2.0.
2. Get your Free Rider track all set up and ready to record.
3. Open up Camstudio 2.0 and go to "Region" and tap "Region"
4. Open up Cheat Engine and tap the little computer that should be glowing in the left corner.
5. Scroll down the list and find "Firefox.exe" or "InternetExplorer.exe" or whatever search engine you're using.
6. Tap "Enable Speedhack" on the center-right half of Cheat Engine.
7. Set the speed to .5, this will slow down the game so Camstudio 2.0 will be able to capture all the frames, you will speed this up later with Windows Movie Maker.
8. Tap the "Record" button on Camstudio 2.0 (Red Circle) and record the region that you want of your Free Rider Track.
9. Play your Free Rider track and do whatever you want, it will be in slow motion so it should be even easier to beat, if you fail just restart, you will be able to edit clips out later.
10. Press the "Stop Recording" button (Blue Square) and wait for a screen to pop up.
11. Save your Free Rider track in a folder that can be found easy.
12. What the recorder got will pop up, exit out of that.
END OF RECORDING SECTION
Trimming Your Video/Cutting Out Unwanted Stuff/Higher Video Quality
(Note: Windows Movie Maker has two ways of editing videos, A: The Storyboard, and B: The Timeline, The Storyboard is much easier for unexperienced Windows Movie Maker Editors, if you already know how to operate Windows Movie Maker you probably want to use this time line, this tutorial is designed for people who have never used Windows Movie Maker)
1. Open up Windows Movie Maker by going under Start>All Programs>Accessories>Windows Movie Maker.
2. Tap the "Import Video" under "Capture Video" and import the recorded video earlier.
3. Drag and drop your video from collections to the Storyboard.
4. Tap "View Video Effects" under the "Edit Movie" Section.
5. Scroll down to "Speed Up/Double" and paste drag one or two of them to your video clip, one will make it perfect and two will make it a little too fast.
6. Watch your video a couple times to know about where you want your video to start and end, I mean like the good stuff in your video.
7. After watching it pause it at the beginning where you want your video to start.
8. Go to Clip>Split at the top of Windows Movie Maker.
9. Right click on the unwanted clip section and tap "Delete"
10. Repeat, it's obvious what you do with the other unwanted section after steps 8 & 9.
11. If you like your video as is you can tap "Save To My Computer" under "Finish Movie" and it will finalize it and you can upload it to Youtube.
But this is not recommended yet, for the fact that you can make your video so much more appealing and fancy. These next sections will tell you how to jazz up your video and make it nice, it will also tell you how to upload it to youtube.
Adding Audio/Music To Your Video
This is no challenge after what you had to do with Trimming your video, and music is probably the one thing that will draw people to your video besides the video itself.
1. Tap "Import Audio Or Music" under "Capture Video"
2. Tap "Show Time line" above all of the section for The Storyboard.
3. Drag and drop the audio/music from "My Collections" to "The Timeline"
Wallah, you have your audio, bow sometimes songs start out slow and you only have about a minute and a half of video footage and you want the music to entertain. So you can easily trim the long boring intro of the song out, these next steps will show how.
4. Listen to your audio for a little bit and find the exact second (in milliseconds) and memorize that time.
5. Take the arrow at the very beginning of the video and drag it to that very second. Then you can drag the whole entire audio clip back to the beginning so the video and audio start there.
6. There will more then likely be too much audio/music so do the same thing with the end of the audio, drag it to the end of the video.
7. Now if you did have the audio start and end at random spots to make it sound better right click and tap "Fade In" and "Fade Out"
Now you have some professional sounding audio/music.
Adding Title Overlay
Okay, sometimes you need titles or credits to kind of tell people the basic of the idea, or to advertise this site in every video because this site is the shit, and you don't really want a big bulky title taking up all the space. Well this will show you how to do this simply, there are many different effects for title overlay also. So lets get this section started. Also for the rest of this tutorial I feel as if you should get Windows Movie Maker enough to do this without images. Just use your common sense, it's going to be okay now, don't worry.
1. Tap "Make Titles Or Credits" under "Edit Movie"
2. Just do "Add Title At The Beginning Of The Movie" for everything for the benefit of the doubt.
3. Enter the text you want to say, like "Free Rider Video for _______"
4. Scroll down and tap "Change The Title Animation"
5. You can chose a fancy one like "News Video, Inset" or a simple one like "Subtitle" but try and choose one that says (overlay) at the end of it, assuming you're doing an overlay, because they generally work better.
6. Select "Change Text And Font Color"
7. You should if anything set the Transparency Level to about 50% or so. Just mess around with what you want, Transparency is only needed for overlays, and Background color is only needed for non-overlays.
8. Tap "Done, Add Title To Animation"
9. Leave it there if it's not and overlay, but if it is one click down on it and drag it down to "Title Overlay"
10. You may need to speed it up if it's too slow, to do this just do what you did for trimming audio/music.
There you go, done with this section, we are getting near the end of this tutorial.
Making A Montage
You will need some experience for this, this isn't going to be very detailed, this will just be more of an idea.
1. Import all of your videos and drag them all to your time line, for this you can use the storyboard but it will be hard.
2. Do the typical Speed Up/Double, generally two times, this will make your montage exciting.
3. Just Split your clips at the beginning and end of your good sections.
4. Delete all the slack at the end.
That's really it, this is just kind of a guideline for an awesome idea that has become very successful with me and my linerider junk.
Uploading To Youtube
1. Log into your youtube account, if you do not have one pm me and I'll give you the username and password for a community account. (You must have 150+ posts, sorry, just for the safety of other people's videos)
2. Tap "Upload Videos" at the top right corner of the home page of youtube.
3. Fill out title, description, tags, etc.
4. Tap "Upload A Video"
5. Find your file that you have had saved from before.
6. Wait for it to upload and process and you are set.
Congrats, you have something that can't be done with Free Rider codes. Something that is unique, has your style of text, colors, but most importantly music.

There are many different techniques with Free Rider that can be used. Some are very useful, here are some that may help you out a ton.
How To Keep Your Tracks From Breaking
While playing your Free Rider tracks they all work fine. But until you re-load your track is when problems arise. To keep your tracks working fine here's a technique.
1. Play your Free Rider track and get your main jump/landing set up.
2. Re-load your track and then play it.
3. Chances are it will be messed up, usually you try and edit the landing, not what sends him to the landing.
4. Re-load it multiple times and make sure it works fine each time.
There you go, your track will now be smooth and work fine. You can use this technique for much more Free Rider tricks then jumps and landings.
Creating Smooth Tracks
The key to making a good track relies on your track making skills. One key skill to help divide you from beginner is to make your track smooth. This is for the most part used in jumps and landings but may be used in other situations.
1. Make a good ramp, then re-load the track multiple times.
2. Create your landing catch right where he lands perfectly.
3. Re-load the track and play it.
4. Make sure every single time Free Rider will catch perfectly every single time.
That's the basics on creating a smooth track.
Checkpoints:
Okay, do you never have the patience to make long tracks? Well this technique is very simple to help take less time making longer tracks.
1. Make your track until it starts to get annoying from time and dying.
2. Keep your track there but edit it so it's easier to play the track.
3. Quit the editing till about just before the last trick, so you can then keep your track smooth.
There you go, that'll save you some time, right?
