| This is one lesson almost everybody finds critical! The detailing has always been a part tradition of the true Free Ridin' experience. It's what gives the tracks its enthusiasm and addictive properties! Another word one might think for detail will be scenery, but in fact, both are very different. Click the link to the left to find out more and see if you can pick up a thing or two about how to give your tracks that graphical quality you dream of! | |
2.0 Anti-Aliasing and its Priorities > | Are you tired of running on tracks with very sharp edges and impossible-to-climb hills? Well, this is one lesson for you [or the other person's track responsible for your frustration XD]. Smooth lines have always played an important role in Free Rider and it's the riding part that needs to be considered. One will always end up crashing thanks to the sharp lines and aggravating-looking climbs, but this lesson will keep from getting another pain relief pill during that headache! |
3.0 Expecting Obstacles > | Apart from ride-able scenery, obstacles are also one important thing to expect when riding your tracks. Obstacles are what also makes a track unique and separates it from the others, and by others, I mean the one where you just jump around on ramps. Including obstacles such as rocks, spikes to apply your brakes so you won't die, or even just going over buildings is a great start to making your track more complex, yet attractive! |
