| My Main Review - Metal Gear Solid 4 | Welcome to my first game review, the new profile isn't even finished yet, but I hope your all having fun with all the stuff I'm putting in.(If you want to play my levels you still need to scroll below my new opening page)
Anyway, as for my first review I thought I would start with one of my favorite games - Metal Gear Solid 4. Its the latest in the Metal Gear Solid series and its only for PS3. I have had it since Christmas and its a great to play - although I have to admit at first I wasn't amazed - but this was because I didn't understand the insanely deep storyline. Once you at least slightly get it however you will find its got a stunning, emotive, and plot-twisted storyline - Its really good, perhaps on par with Half-Life but not much else comes close.
As well as the great storyline. (Think COD 4 ending but even better) MGS4 also his the best graphics of any game that you will see on a console, (this doesn't include high-end PC's) they're that good.
The game it's self is pretty awesome too. The controls take a while to get used to but once you do they will make perfect sense. The AI is really humanoid. (messing around with enemy's is good fun) Where the game really shines however is in the fact that Hideo Kojima added billions of little Easter eggs and other things to make the game special. Whether its the hour long cut-scenes or a section of the game where Snake - the protagonist, has a dream about his past in which you play a level from MGS1, PS1 graphics and all. There is even a scene where a bad guy from MGS1 comes back from the dead to kill you, he fails however because he can't access your PS1 Memory Card. Not many games do that huh? Its no wonder MGS4 is the only game yet to use a double layered blue-ray disk.

| | My Mini Review - Pandemedic 2 | This is where I'm going to do my mini review - the mini reviews are reviews of games free to play on the Internet. So if there good you have no excuse not to play them!
First up I'm doing Pandemedic 2, this is a game that you can find easily by searching on Google and it will soon be on my homepage. The idea of the game is simple - create a virus to wipe-out mankind. But that's just the concept, the game itself is very realistic and as so you have to deal with things like governments closing borders, vaccines and even just trying to infect damn Madagascar which is practically impossible.
It seems hard at first, but if you use a strategy its actually quite easy, (Apart from the Madagascar thing). The best tutorial can be found on YouTube by clicking the link.
Anyway the game itself is fun and addictive if a little slow at first, you have to get into it to enjoy it. (And the fast forward button helps too!) It's definitely worth a look, just remember to check out the YouTube tutorial or you will end up with half the world extinct and the other half completely cut off making a cure to destroy you!
 | | Overall Rating - 8/10 | | Little Big Planet News | My PS3 online ID is godman2k7 and I noticed LBP has a lot in common with free rider and wetpaint, there both about community and there both about creation. So I thought it would be good to merge them - This is where I put the news about my LBP levels.
Well, so far I have got quite a few levels online. I have two projects in the making, a level set in the Wild West of LBP at a sponge mining town that's ran into trouble. My second and more developed level is based on the popular show Top Gear - If you have played any of my levels you will notice I like to make parody's. Its definately my best level yet and its coming on great! I also can't wait for LBP PSP, it would give me a reason to start playing my PSP again. Thats about it for now, bye! | |
