| My Main Review - Metal Gear Solid 4 | Welcome to my first game review, the new profile isn't even finished yet, but I hope your all having fun with all the stuff i'm puting in.(If you want to play my levels you still need to scroll below my new opening page)
Anyway, as for my first review I thought I would start with one of my favorite games - Metal Gear Solid 4. Its the latest in the Metal Gear Solid series and its only for PS3. I have had it since christmas and its a joy to play - although I have to admit at first I wasn't amazed - but this was because I didn't understand the insanely deep storyline. Once you at least slightly get it however; it becomes the most stunning, emotive, and plot-twisted storyline ever to grace video gaming - well, its kinda on par with Half-Life.
As well as the great storytline. (Think COD 4 ending but even better) MGS4 also his the best graphics of any game that you will see on a console, (this doesn't include high-end PC's) they're that good.
The game it's self is pretty awesome too. The control's take a while to get used to but once you do they will make perfect sense. The AI is realy humanoid. (messing around with enemy's is good fun) Where the game realy shines however is in the fact that Hideo Kojima added billions of little easter eggs and other things to make the game special. Whether its the hour long cut-scenes or a section of the game where Snake - the protagonist, has a dream about his past in which you play a level from MGS1, PS1 graphics and all. There is even a scene where a bad guy from MGS1 comes back from the dead to kill you, he fails however because he can't access your PS1 Memory Card. Not many games do that huh? Its no wonder MGS4 is the only game yet to use a double layered blue-ray disk.
