Free Rider is a simple, but a challenging game to play, based on the popular
Line Rider. Requiring a little more skill and practice, you control your bike by leaning forward or backward. With this additional control, you'll find yourself flipping, spinning, and cruising over
trails,
streets, and
gaps in no time! You'll be able to find some
simple tracks for beginner levels in our assortment of
tracks by difficulty.
General Tips
- Do not accelerate at full speed until you know what is ahead. This could lead to over-jumping or hitting walls.
Jumps
- Lean back a bit before the jump to go a higher elevation.
- Lean back until the tip of a jump but before you go off, lean forward to gain the most distance.
- Beware! Upon completing a jump, whichever wheel hits the ground first will bounce up and you may end up doing a wheelie. (not too far, or falling will be a possibility)
Tricks
- Do not accelerate during a wheelie, you will spin out.
- Nose manuals are a great trick, but do not brake or you will fall forward (similar to above).
- Only attempt as many flips as you think you can complete.
- If you want to accelerate more than normal, use Curvemaker to create a webbed curve with a large amount of lines. You accelerate based on the number of lines, therefore, the greater amount of lines, the faster the rate of acceleration.
- Watch out for Bumps that they may put in they might knock you off you course.
- Always try to correct your front/backflips in the air as often as possible. There is always a possibility that you will end up falling on any area on the bike or rider.
- When boost is on a jump, don't go too fast or you could crash (force pulls you down)
