| Nominations Okay, it is here, the nominations. Even though it was meant to begin earlier in the year. For those who waited for the nominations for 08-09, they are finally here, and nobody has know who voted for who. With the voting here the tracks from the best are advancing into a new era, read more in the new era section about the tracks, and making there tracks better, and adding way more graphics. Wrapping up the top three of the Best Author of the Year poll are Raptor2 with a descent lead over Milkshake, who has a slim lead over svinepels. In the top three spots for the Best Fantasy Track award are The Ruins, by Milkshakeweedwacker, and Raptor2, holding the first spot over The Survivor Series, by Raptor2, which is holding second by a slim percentage over Underwater, Dinosaurs, and Volcano Fun, by curtis123freerider And covering up the rest of the nominations for now is the Favorite Offroad Track award, which The Ruins is also holding first in, in second is Underwater, Dinosaurs, and Volcano Fun, and taking up number three is Mountain Run, by LinkJon, and Survivor 2, by Raptor2. New Era Some of the best track designers on FRT have bumped up the detail of the tracks. Two of the many fine examples are The Ruins, and, even though it is not complete, Escape from the Burning Town, by svinepels, who is close to finishing it, but right now is on vacation. The Ruins feature great detail, like all of the tracks by xusernamex, though not created by him, and few others. Raptor2 and Milkshake, along with many others have advanced into the detailed era. Thus, there will be more detail to most of the tracks by the users who go the extra mile. |
